In March 2026, the Hermès China team commissioned an animated piece to spotlight the Faubourg Express bag.

The main concept on a playful and controlled interaction with the bag’s iconic clasp and zipper, using these functional details as narrative elements to reveal its singularity and ingenuity.

The project moves between digital animation and risograph print. Each frame was translated into risograph, embracing slight misregistrations, ink textures, and material imperfections, echoing Hermès’ heritage of craftsmanship, where every piece carries the trace of the human hand.
